What a loss for humankind. Dr. Healy possessed a rare combination of a big heart, and a beautiful mind. He could take a conversation from the conquests of the Vikings to the principles of Buddhism, and from the world of art and culture to the makings of a perfect cocktail. But more impressive than his range of intellectual contributions was the size of his heart and the magnitude of his compassion for others. He leaves behind a void that could never be filled - but he also leaves behind a legacy of kindness, thoughtfulness, and compassion that we can all aspire to.
