Brian spent many years as first an extern, and then a full time employee, at our community-based mental health clinic in Upper Manhattan. Brian's compassion for, and commitment to our clients was extremely impressive, and his particular expertise working with children and adolescents, noteworthy.

Brian was a terrific team member with a great sense of humor, and a willingness to 'go the extra mile' for his clients.

In fact, I can remember visiting the 34th Precinct with him during the height of the 'Crack Epidemic' to impress upon our community officers our willingness to work with young, first time offenders. The visit resulted in direct referrals to our clinic, many of whom Brian engaged, and guided back onto a pro-social path.

Brian will certainly be sorely missed. -Charlie
